An all-in-one system holds the hybrid inverter, the solar charge controller, the battery and the battery management system in a single cabinet. Because the parts are matched and wired at the factory, the system is supplied plug and play: it arrives as one unit and is connected on site rather than assembled there. There are three series, by size of load.
Most sites in India already have two or three sources of power. Our all-in-one systems are built to work with all of them together, and to decide between them automatically.

Two different systems sit inside a battery energy storage system, and buyers are often quoted both without being told which is which.
When you compare quotations, ask which of the two is included, what the energy management system allows you to change, and what data you can see. A system you cannot see into is a system whose savings you cannot prove.

A battery energy storage system, usually called a BESS, stores electricity and releases it when it is needed. It is used to run a site through a power cut, to store solar energy for the evening, to reduce demand charges by supplying the peaks, and to replace or reduce the running of a diesel generator. The cost depends on the size, the voltage class, the enclosure and the power conversion equipment, so every system is quoted against the site. Our storage website publishes approximate ranges per kWh and per MWh for each system size, and explains what makes one quotation differ from another. We quote your site rather than list a price, because a price without a load profile is not a real number.
In many cases it can, and in others it reduces the hours the generator runs rather than removing it. The answer depends on the load, how long the outages last and how often they happen. Our storage website works through the comparison and the payback period.
It depends on whether the system exports to the grid and on the rules of your state distribution company. A system that only supplies the site behind the meter is treated differently from one that feeds the grid. Our storage website sets out when approval is needed.
Yes. Our all-in-one systems charge from solar through a built-in charge controller, charge from the grid when it is available, and work alongside an existing diesel generator so that it runs for fewer hours. The energy management system decides between the sources automatically, according to the priority that is set. Which sources a particular model supports is confirmed against your site.
The battery management system, or BMS, protects the cells. It monitors voltage, current and temperature, balances the cells and disconnects the battery if a limit is crossed. Every CLN lithium battery has one. The energy management system, or EMS, decides when the battery charges and discharges and how it works with solar, the grid and a generator. Our all-in-one and commercial systems include both.
The hybrid inverter, the solar charge controller, the battery and the battery management system are matched and wired together in one cabinet at the factory. The system reaches the site as a single unit and is connected there, rather than being assembled from separate parts, which is why installation is quicker and there is one supplier to call if anything needs attention.
